This weekend was very fun to say the least! So lets jump right in!! I woke up pretty late on Saturday and got up and got ready for the day! My friend Shelagh was coming over that day to go to the Earth day Festival at Alameda park together! We met up with some other friends there and watched a friend from middle school perform!! The festival is always fun and has a really nice Santa Barbara vibe, it always bring so many people together in the nice park downtown and overall has happy feel to it! Then after that I went to dinner with some friends at CPK! After dinner me and my friends went back to my house and had a dance party in my living room:)
The next day I woke up at 11 to my sister and our friend Paige storming into my room and getting ready for a beach day!! That day we went beach hopping and our first stop was Santa Clause beach and our second stop was Butterfly Beach! Not to mention it felt like it was 100 degrees on Sunday and the heat kind of took the numbing feeling of the cold/ very refreshing water. The water was so nice that day and the waves were perfect for swimming and catching waves. We met up with some friends at the beach and played soccer and volleyball by the water. There were SO many people at the beach that day, probably for the same reason as us, getting a nice tan and relaxing on the beach before having to go back to school the next day.
We swam for a while because the water felt so nice and we also spent some time trying to get the ‘right’ picture that is insta worthy;) We brought all of the essentials for the beach, some snacks, water, towels, a water proof camera, charged phones, soccer ball and volleyball, boogie boards, sunscreen, and a speaker for music! I hope i’m not forgetting anything. The song of the day (kept of repeat) was probably Sunday Candy by Chance the Rapper. So I would recommend listening to that song if you find the time! Anyways my weekend was definitely one to remember and I hope everyone who is reading this had a beautiful weekend too! and stay tuned for the next blog post… it’s gonna be a big one:)
